The village of Nosálov, with its unique wooden architecture, is located 5 km north-east of Mšeno, on the periphery of the Kokořín region (Kokořínsko).

Nosálov is a historically ancient village. It was founded in the colonisation period of the 14th century. The first mention of the village is in 1336. The village square contains a unique collection of buildings from the late 18th and early 19th centuries. The timbered architecture  bears the typical characteristics of settlements in the shape of the "Frankish Court" with black kitchens preserved within the buildings. For this reason, the village was declared an urban conservation area.

The village surroundings are very attractive to tourists. The Kokořín region in particular attracts visitors with its numerous natural landmarks and sights.
