Church of St. Philip and Jacob, Všeň

Gothic parish church of st. Philip and Jacob dominate the village Všeň.

Its foundation is connected with the very foundation of the village. The present appearance of the church is the result of the reconstruction after the fire in 1832. The tower is octagonal at the bottom, it is transformed into a quadrilateral in the upper part. The church staircase is decorated with a set of six sandstone sculptures by the Baroque sculptors Jelinek from Kosmonosy. The feast of the Apostles Philip and Jacob to whom the church is dedicated is celebrated by a traditional pilgrimage on the first Sunday of May.
