To the Ruptured Dam on Bílá Desná Josefův Důl, railway station - Lesní brána (1 km) - Mariánskohorské boudy - Ruptured Dam (4 km) - foundations of Krömer\\\\\\\'s Hut - Desná I - memorial stone of the dam disaster (9 km) - Desná, train, bus . A total of 10.5 km. Initially a larger ascent, from Mariánskohorské buds mostly descending. From the dam you can also comfortably return the same way to Josefova Důl.
From Josefova Důl we walk through the village to the Lesní brána crossroads, from where the road climbs steadily to the solitude of Mariánskohorská bouda. At the Protržená dam we come across a short cultural and educational trail, which will acquaint us with the causes of the disaster from 1916. Near the mouth of the connecting gallery, there is a sign by the road reminiscent of the former Krömer hut, which stood here in 1926–1945. From here we can descend along the forest asphalt road to Desná, where a memorial stone commemorating the consequences of an ancient catastrophe stands by the bridge over Bílá Desná. Hiking trip through the mountain landscape through Mariánskohorské boudy to Protržená dam
If you like mountain hiking, head from Abrechtice in the Jizera Mountains towards Mariánskohorské boudy to the Protržená dam. The road is about six kilometers long and along the way you can also try to find Schiller memorial stone.
